Ronald W. Blasi, J.D., LL.M.has worked for tax departments at some of the top institutions in the country and has tax law practice experience with a top law firm in NY. He served as chairman of the ABA Tax Section's Banking Committee and has lectured in bank tax professional education programs for over 20 years. He is currently Professor of Law in the College of Law at Georgia State University. Professor Blasi has an LL.M. (Taxation) from New York University, a J.D. from St. John's University and an APC (Accounting) from New York University Graduate School of Business.

Paul A. Sirek
Paul's focus is on the financial institutions industry. He provides management consulting, tax planning and tax compliance services to financial institutions ranging in size from less than $50 million to more than $10 billion. He conducts complex tax research projects, and assists financial institutions with merger and acquisition issues, including tax structuring of transactions and the regulatory application process. Paul serves as the Tax Director of the firm’s Financial Institutions Services Group, leading and assisting the firm’s tax service providers service our community bank clients. He leads technical training efforts for the group, and serves as a frequent speaker on bank tax topics, including several state bank associations and state CPA societies, as well as the Bank Holding Company Association, Bank Tax Institute and Subchapter S Bank Association.
