PRESENTER: Jennifer Dorscht

Jennifer is a Chartered Professional Accountant member who holds an Honours Baccalaureate Degree with a specialization in International Accounting and Finance and subsequently the Master of Taxation facilitated through the University of Waterloo.  She continues to engage in professional development within the areas of passion which are Taxation, Auditing and Finance.

Jennifer has several years in the professional practice sector working within CPA firms in the capacity of a Senior Tax and Compilation Accountant where she has acquired extensive competencies as they relate to the CCH iFirm Taxprep software in the Professional Practice environment.  The most recent firm is BDO Canada.  This is coupled with several years of qualifications acquired within the area of Financial Management and Controllership in the private sector with a specialty in Real Estate and construction working with high-net-worth individuals. This has provided a broad spectrum of methodologies and ideology as well as the depth and breadth required for practical qualifications in professional practice engagement inclusive of competencies in auditing and compliance areas.   

Jennifer’s current role is with Wolters Kluwer Canada as a Senior Client Trainer for the iFirm Taxprep Engagement Solutions as well as the CA Learning and Development Solutions.
